The M head and perhaps the Rockwell head fit best on a Hardinge if mounted on an offset plate so you get a decent amount of head room. I had the Hardinge 4C head, the Bridgeport H head and a Rusnok head for my TM, but sold all three. I just don't need a vertical head for my TM. I have a Rockwell vertical mill. Larry

The head was fine, needs cleaning. I sold off my Porter Cable MK2 attachment to help fund the little rusnok. I will be using it for light stuff and switch back to the h-mill for heavier cutting. The little Burke is a stout machine. Here is how I packed the MK2 milling attachment before boxing it, and final installation of new head motor.

I recently picked up this Rusnok Model 70 head mounted to a Precision mill body. My electrician buddy gave me a Dayton 3/4HP PMDC (model 1F796H) motor, which fits but needed the holes on the mill mounting plate drilled out to 3/8" and the extension of the motor shaft of about an inch.

Ever since I fully restored my bigger mill (Index Model 40), I've not used the Rusnok model 70 at all. It's a shame to let it sit. The head is mounted on a Precise mill base with a 6x20" table. It's been converted to variable speed with a Dayton 3/4hp DC motor with digital RPM readout. It speeds all the way up to 5,500 RPM smoothly.

Rusnok makes a small benchtop mill. It is that mill's head you're talking about, but the Model 70 is the original design from the '50's. Was a combo vert/horiz unit. Their factory nomenclature is confusing... I'm pretty certain mine is a Model 850, as I suspect that the head is the 'Model 80' portion, and the rest of the body, etc. complete the '850' equation.
